Evident flip-flops on multiple policy changes, if not all policy changes of the last 8 years, are garnered by the very basic Republican Fantasy World principle that "changes in policy are reactions to changing events, not changing polls."
In other words, it's impossible for Republicans to flip-flop. And when they do, it's based on very smart and very serious decision making and nothing to do with politics.
Examples include anyone trying to explain away John McCain's flip-flop list.
